The Dinner-Auction is an annual event, and is scheduled for March 13 this year. The evening features both silent and live auctions, and numerous raffles will continue throughout the night. Among the featured items to be auctioned are a stay in the Maple Leaf Bed & Breakfast on Harsens Island, both wine-tasting- and coffee-sampling parties, a weekend getaway at the St. Mark rectory on Harsens Island and "Dinner for 4 with Father Jim." Other items include jewelry, toys, tools, small appliances, housewares, and gift certificates. The lucky winner of "Money Train" raffle will receive a huge assortment of various lottery tickets, while the "Bead Raffle" winners will take home gift certificates. The "Tree O'SCRIP" will contain approximately $250 dollars' worth of SCRIP gift certificates, which will go home with one lucky raffle player.
