Religion - Mrs. Margie Smith

Mrs. Smith is the Director of Religious Education for Our Lady on the River Parish. She also shares her knowledge of the Catholic faith by teaching our 7th and 8th grade religion classes. Mrs. Smith assists our classroom teachers as needed.

Our faculty is committed to providing an education that is rooted in our faith. Eighty-eight percent of our staff holds catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Detroit. Those who are not fully certified continue to work toward catechetical certification. All teachers engage in annual enrichment classes to strengthen and renew our teaching.
