How much does it cost to attend Holy Cross Catholic School?
This question has a variety of answers. Tuition is charged by the child, with a multiple child discount in place. Tuition is based on being an active member in one of our vicariate parishes or not being an active member of one of our vicariate parishes. In order to receive the vicariate rate, you must have a letter signed by your pastor which shows that you are an active member of one of our vicariate parishes. What is your student-teacher ratio?
Holy Cross Catholic School offers small class sizes for a personal approach to education. Your children's teachers will know them, as will other teachers in our building. Our current average student-teacher ratio is 12:1. Sizes vary based upon grade level.
Is bussing available to Holy Cross Catholic School?
Holy Cross does not operate a bus specific to the school, however there are a few options available. If you are a resident of the East China School District, you may take an East China bus to Holy Cross. Students ride the early bus, and one shuttle bus brings students from the St. Clair area, the other from Marine City. In addition, Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School offers a bus which our students may ride for a fee. To learn more about the bus route and fees, please contact the high school office at 810-765-8825. Finally, carpooling is always an option. We are happy to help parents meet other parents that live in their neighborhoods.
Where is Holy Cross Catholic School located?
Holy Cross Catholic School is located at 618 South Water Street in Marine City. We are located on the St. Clair River, between Holy Cross Church and Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. Please click here to see our location on MapQuest.
What are your hours of operation?
The school office is open each school day from 7:00AM until 3:00PM. These office hours apply for the entire school year. When school is not in session during June and August, the office is open from 8:00AM until noon. During the month of July, we are in and out of the office every other day, and are always checking our voicemail and email.
